Canon E18 Error

I’m very sure that many of you out there own a Canon Ixus or Powershot, these two models have infamous “problem” called E18. This happened when the lens cannot retract and when you take pictures, it cannot focus, then later your LCD display will be blank and you will get “E18″ on the bottom left of it. It’s good to know that this is not the end of the world for your camera, it can acutally be fixed easily. Canon won’t fix it free for you unless you still have your warranty, if you don’t they will definitely charge you a bomb for it.

If you would like to learn how to Repair Canon E18 Error, here’s a very good website. Thanks to this website that I’m relieved that my camera is still alive. I had tried all the methods to no avail. The last resort is to dismantle it and then place everything back together. I didn’t dismantle it myself, I’ll be sending it to some camera shops to get it dismantle because I don’t want to take the risk.

I hope you will find e18error.com useful. I’m so glad I found it!

It seems like e18error.com is now just a collection of irrelevant links… :-(
